The only outstanding issue is the specific venue for the party, other than that, everything is a go.  (Today, several people seemed to think I was clairvoyant b/c they’d introduce all sorts of things I’ve never heard of into conversations, as though I was totally familiar with them.  So I figured what the heck, I’ll get in on the action too).

In this case though, my statement wasn’t totally ambiguous.  From the post headline, you can deduce that it’s a Windows 7 Launch Party that I’m referring to.  Right now, the plan is either to have it at our house, my office, or at Kim’s boss’ lakehouse.  The target date is looking like October 24th or October 31st.  I’ll have this nailed down by Saturday.

Who’s invited?  Any adult over the age of 21 who is interested in Windows 7 and isn’t a homicidal nut, troll, psychopath or party pooper.  Microsoft has asked me to host this party and is supplying the party favors which should easily accomodate up to 30 people.  So invites are on a first come, first serve basis.  If all 30 slots fill up quickly (by October 19th), I’ll request more party favors and will very likely be able to accomodate some more people.
